Our Carers’ programme provides carers a period of rest away from their caring roles through days out.

In the UK around 7 million people are unpaid carers for family members or friends who need help due to disabilities.

We work to support carers and never underestimate how difficult life can be as a carer.

Carers Pamper Day

After a day of respite and pampering carers have fed back to us saying they were left feeling recharged, positive and nurtured.

Carers enjoyed the chance to relax in the calm atmosphere and were left feeling chilled and amazing!

3H Has been adapting the way we support carers in these unusual times.
We have been excited to be able to offer Afternoon Tea vouchers to a number of carers in Kent and Sussex.  With the help of The Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club, we have been able to offer a little respite for carers in a beautiful and calm location.

Tea poured from a teapot into a cup.

As it was not possible to support carers with our usual pamper days, 3H created ‘Pamper Hampers’.  These hampers were full of items to provide a little bit of respite at home during the 2020 lockdown. 40 carers from across the UK received the hampers through an Instagram giveaway.

Pamper Hamper and messages of thanks

We are grateful to the local businesses who helped us to help carers, by generously reducing their prices so we could provide more hampers to more people!

Thank you to Cook, Bit Spicy, Temper Temper and The Kentish Soap Company.

We had lovely ‘Thank you’ messages from some of our recipients for their ‘Hug in a Box’!
